A turbine vent installed on a shipping container is a ventilation device designed to promote air circulation and regulate temperature within the container. It consists of a spinning turbine that harnesses the power of wind to draw out stale air and moisture, while simultaneously drawing in fresh air from the outside. The turbine vent is typically installed on the container's roof and incorporates a set of internal vanes that rotate with the wind, creating a suction effect that aids in the exchange of air. This ventilation solution helps to mitigate condensation, reduce humidity levels, and improve air quality, contributing to the preservation of the container's contents.
NOTE: it is recommended to install a louver vent (side vent) in conjunction with a turbine vent.
