A Double Door (or "Tunnel") container has the same features as a regular container with an additional feature of opening on both ends. The double pair of cargo swing doors provide more flexibility for storage and loading. It is possible to combine several double-door containers to make one long tunnel.

This cream-of-the-crop container offers the best quality and eliminates all elements of surprise from the buying process. With the exception of a few possible dings from handling during its single trip from the factory overseas, the “One Trip” container is structurally and aesthetically immaculate. It is leakproof and comes with no holes. It is graded for use in shipping goods overseas and for on-land storage and transportation.

Your “One Trip” container will have minimal to no surface rust, dents, scratches, small or no decals, and will be a factory-color tan or light gray. It will include two factory built-in lockboxes and easy-to-open high handles on both sets of the cargo swing doors. Every unit comes with our 1-year warranty against structural defects.

Unless a paint modification option is added at checkout, the color of the container cannot be selected. Contact us to color match multiple-unit orders.

If the appearance of the container is not of the essence, our Cargo Worthy, Cargo Worthy Premium, and Wind and Watertight grades are great choices for instant storage.

Recommended for use in custom modifications.

DELIVERY OPTIONS

We deliver purchased or leased through Midstate Containers using a goose-neck tilt-bed truck.

Tilt-bed truck

Ideal for easy offloading without additional equipment.
• Requirements: 80 ft straight-line clearance for 10’/20’ containers, 120 ft for 40’ containers.
• Overhead clearance: about 14 ft (up to 16 ft when tilted).
• Exact placement is not guaranteed, forklift or crane may be required for tight or specific locations.

Container moves

We can relocate your container if it is empty.Cost: $175/hour, 2-hour minimum (“port-to-port” billing).

Site preparation

Before scheduling delivery, please ensure:
• Flat, level delivery area for safe unloading and proper door operation.
• Clear, unobstructed access with no overhead obstacles (trees, power lines, or structures).
• Adequate clearance as per container size.
• Payment completed prior to delivery (cash, check, or credit).

Delivery timing

Due to supply chain and driver availability, please allow:
• Purchases: 2-4 weeks from order confirmation.
• Rentals: 1-3 weeks from order confirmation.

GENERAL WARRANTY

(Applies to Dry Storage Containers, Modified Containers, and Office Containers ONLY)

All dry storage containers, modified containers, and office containers sold by Midstate Containers are guaranteed to be wind- and weather-tight at the time of delivery.

This warranty is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Coverage Includes

•Base Container: Wind and water-tight integrity, functionality of cargo doors, cargo door seal integrity, and roll door operation
• Modifications and Customization Work: Flooring, insulation, electrical wiring, structural changes, and quality of all customization work

Warranty Exclusions

• Refrigerated containers (see Refrigerated Container Warranty below)*
•A/C, HVAC, and other appliances with their own manufacturer warranties
•Cosmetic defects (chipped paint, surface rust, normal wear and tear)
• Structural damage caused by handling, loading, unloading, or relocation
• Damage resulting from extreme or harsh weather conditions
• Custom interior or exterior paint, finishes, or modifications
• Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper operation
•As-Is or damaged containers are sold “as is” and carry no warranty of any kind


*Important Notice:
This General Warranty does NOT apply to refrigerated containers (reefers). Refrigerated containers are covered under a separate warranty outlined below.

REFRIGERATED CONTAINER WARRANTY

Applies ONLY to Refrigerated Containers

Refrigerated containers are sold with separate and limited warranty coverage, which differs from dry and modified container warranties. Extended warranty options may be available at an additional cost.

Used Refrigerated Containers

• 60-day warranty on the refrigeration motor only, starting from the date of purchase.

New (One-Trip) Refrigerated Containers

• 5-year manufacturer’s warranty on the refrigeration unit, starting from the date of manufacture, provided by the refrigeration unit manufacturer (Carrier, Thermo King, or Daikin)


Refrigerated Warranty Notes

• Refrigeration warranties apply only to the refrigeration system.
• Container structure, doors, flooring, and seals are not covered under the General Warranty for refrigerated units unless explicitly stated in writing.

Service and Support


Midstate Containers will, at its discretion, repair or replace defective parts or products covered under this warranty.
