Custom Container Metal Workshop — Jory Brigham Design, Paso Robles, CA
At Midstate Containers, we’re passionate about turning bold ideas into functional, one-of-a-kind spaces. When Jory Brigham Design — a nationally recognized woodworking and furniture design studio — reached out to us, the goal was to create a custom shipping container workshop that could support Jory’s hands-on design classes and creative process.
About the Project
We designed and built a custom 40-foot container workshop featuring a large barn-style sliding door that opens the space completely for indoor/outdoor teaching. The container sits alongside Jory’s main woodshop and includes a dedicated powder-coating area, providing a flexible and efficient workspace for both students and instructors.
This project showcases the versatility of shipping container construction — durable, modular, and highly adaptable to creative applications. Whether used for classrooms, studios, offices, or production spaces, containers offer endless possibilities for functional and visually striking environments.
