Flooring Modifications
Midstate Containers offers a few different flooring options. The tongue-and-groove plywood (T&G) option for reefers is great due to its strength and rigidity, helping to eliminate bounce and sagging. When it comes to coating, we use Sherwin-Williams Armorseal Tread-Plex, a one-component, general-purpose, interior and exterior waterborne floor coating. It's a tough, alkali-resistant finish that will protect against abrasion, grease, oils, hard wear, and cleaning equipment. Vinyl diamond-plated garage flooring is ideal for industrial applications as it's tough and easy to clean, but can also be used in commercial and residential shipping containers for a more rugged aesthetic while also providing additional traction and slip-resistance.
